Crown of the Heart Ita Bag

“My name is Anthony Collins, and I’m a disabled trans artist living with my wife in Cincinnati Ohio. When I was a kid, I taught myself how to hand sew because I wanted a special bag for my handheld gaming system. Two decades later, I’m still doing the same thing in spirit.

An Ita bag is a style of bag specifically designed to securely display a collection of buttons, charms, and enamel pins. An Ita bag, or ‘painful bag’, is a bag that has been so heavily decorated as to be almost unrecognizable as a bag. Fashion and item collecting are both important methods of self expression, and the two marry beautifully in the concept of an Ita bag. Every bag ends up as unique as the individual who assembled it.”

The Crown of the Heart bag comes with three interchangeable straps, and is designed to be worn as a crossbody bag or as a backpack. Strap anchor points not in use can be used to hang charms or keychains. The front pocket of the bag offers upwards of 65 square inches of display space, making it one of the largest display spaces available on the market today. The bags are constructed from durable, Vegan friendly faux leather.
