This book, Yes, You Can My Little One, is a story about many wonderful ways to have a family!

Cincinnatian Kathy Quarles is the creator of this book and Kickstarter campaign.

She has told us she’s a passionate, creative, motivated… mother of 2 wonderful little humans, wife, writer, and Human Resource leader. Lover of big hugs, good wine, high heels, and dark chocolate – yes, Dark Chocolate!

In a series of heartfelt moments between Katie and her mother, they imagine the different paths to having a family that Katie’s life may take. It’s a story not often told, but very often experienced. “I wanted to capture concepts such as pregnancy, adoption, IVF, and surrogacy in a way that a child would understand,” Kathy states.

This book is inspired by moments shared between author Kathy and her 5-year-old daughter, Ava. Ava is a very special little girl, who has a rare chromosome disorder, resulting in Turner Syndrome. “Ava’s journey to having a family one day will be different than what is often considered ‘typical’. I wanted her to know that there is more than one narrative on having a family, and that each person will have a different experience and story,” shares Kathy.
